Ive just started taking pradaxa and have been putting them in a weekly pill orginizer. I saw a question about this in another site and didnt see an answer. Hope I havent been hurting the effectiveness of the pradaxa by doing this.

I wish I had seen this question sooner. I have been taking Paradaxa for three months and didnot know that the pills should be kept in the container to avoid moisture from getting into the pills. It never dawned on me that I should not leave it in a weekly container. I truly thank you for your question. I hope every one else see it. Thanks

Pradaxa comes in a specially designed bottle to protect it from light and moisture. It should ONLY be stored in the original container. Pradaxa also has a very short shelf life. Any unused pills after 30 days should be discarded. I suggest you call your pharmacist if someone is telling you different. Pradaxa.com also has all the information you need regarding this drug.

I did contact my pharmacist and was told excatly what was said here, keep pradaxa in the orginal container. And over 30 days for some reason the pradaxa is no good and shouldnt be taken.
