i have had parkinsons for 7 years now and the tremor symptom has worsened appreciably in the past 6 months
Can you please tell me the effect,if any of zonisamide on the symptoms of parkinsons disease?

January 3, 2007 — Results of a randomized trial show that the addition of zonisamide (Zonegran, Dainippon Sumitomo Pharma), an antiepileptic drug, to levodopa therapy was safe, well tolerated, and produced a reduction in tremor, motor fluctuations, and dyskinesias in Parkinson's disease (PD) patients with insufficient response to levodopa.
