Can you eat grapefruit while taking calan SR?

Hi,

Sorry, but no you can not ... the reason being it can increase the level of calan sr in your blood, increasing your risk of side effects.=

Now if your Doctor tells you it is okay..well yes, and you should do so exactly as he/she tells you too.

I have been told by a couple of people don't eat grapefruit while on BP medications?

It was on the news, that you can't eat grapefruit, while taking zocor. If you eat grapefruit alo,t like my mom, it can kill you.
