Can you drink alcohol while taking avelox?

Hey lady b,

There appear to be no interactions between alcohol and avelox. However, it is always best to consult a pharmacist or doctor.

Avelox is an antibiotic that I have taken several times as Laurie said I can't see anything that is said about alcohol but just to be safe I would not take it with alcohol without first talking to the pharmacist who filled it or the doctor's office, there are times that because nothing specific is said about a problem does not mean that it can't happen, we are all different and we react different to medications I hope you double check just to be sure that this is a safe thing to do. take good care,
