Can you drink a ginseng tea if you also take high blood pressure meds like, atenolol and norvasc or?

I asked my doc the same thing when she put me on Atenolol, she said no problem. Everyone's different though, might want to ask your Dr or Pharmacist to be on the safe side. I've been drinking Red ginseng for years now with no problems, everything in moderation...

I've been drinking tea for years and had no side effects now that I'm taking med to control my blood pressure. If you can still go to the gym or do walking or light exercise, it also helps to control bp. Enjoy your tea.

Is it all all posible to take both of these meds together ? More for the electrical systm reasons than high blood pressure ?
