Can you crush Glucotro XL pills in order to swollow?

I have trouble digesting my glucotrol XL pills. Can I crush and mix with apple sauce?

Glucotrol XL tabs could be crushed and taken as a 'whole' tab. for mixing it with apple sauce please check it with your pharmacist, hope this helps?
