My GI doctor prescribed this for 10days rather that the recommended 3 day course indicated for Travelers Diarrhea caused by E-Coli- is that normal?

Trials have been carried out using Xifaxan to treat H. pylori but they have not proved any better than traditional treatments.
Ask your GI specialist why he is using this antibiotic.
