Can xifaxan be prescribed for nausea or vomiting?

i thought that was the reason i was recommended. is that wrong?

Xifaxan is actually prescribed most often for a condition known as Traveler's diarrhea, which is caused by E.coli. It's also been used for people with Crohn's disease and diverticulitis. Hope this helps.
