Can we take antabuse (500mg) after 12 hrs since last drink or after 48 hrs ? I have heard both?

It is within 12 hours of last alcohol-containing product consumed.

Hello Sam. On 500mg 48 hours. If taken as soon as after 12 hours you will become violently ill. I advise 48 hours, not earlier than 36 hours. Regards, pledge

Thank you. This is very helpful. I am 30 hrs without alcohol. If I can hold off til tomorrow night I will start at bedtime. Wish me luck!
