My husband was on Toprol 50 mg. a day and then it was upped to 100mg. a day.
They also added Atacand HCT to regulate his b/p. His blood pressure is fine now but he has developed guttate psoriasis and I have read beta blockers can do this. He is also on Lipitor, Carbatrol for focal seizures, Citalopram.

Psoriasis is not a known side effect of Toprol, but Toprol can cause dry mouth and eyes so it may cause psoriasis in people who are more susceptible to the condition.
