Yes, Timoptic will lower pressure in the eye(s).
Timoptic Drops are used for: Treating increased pressure in the eye (ocular hypertension) and open-angle glaucoma.
Timoptic Drops are a beta-blocker. It works to decrease fluid production and pressure inside the eye.
And yes, Timoptic can be used with Travatan. there is no known interaction between them. However, it does not mean that no interactions exist so is you feel any odd systems in your eyes, such as pain, blurred vision, etc., please see the doctor.
