Can tidamax and Zithromax be used for treating Trichomoniasis?

Trichomoniasis is a sexually transmitted disease caused by the parasite Trichomonas vaginalis.
Tindamax or metronidazole are recommended as the drugs of choice for the treatment of trichomoniasis by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Zithromax is not normally used.
