Mind you I did not look this up, but my husband & I are both very allergic to penicillian, & just so happen to also be allergic to keflex. I broke out in a horrible rash & was ichting (after surgery) & it made my husband very ill. Now his may be an intolerance rather than an allergy for my husband, but I have been told by my allergy doctor that most people who have a very negative reaction to penicillian, also do to keflex. Just my thoughts...

Thank you for your input. My sister and I are concerned for our mother that this Med could harm her more than help her. She is 82 and on several other meds.
