the child was on lamivudine ( 66 mg. daily dose ) since last 39 months , but his HBV DNA (quantitative) increased from 750000 / ml to 1300000 /ml.now he is on tenofovir 150 mg daily since 3 weeks. what are the possibilities to treat/cure the child?
Can tenofovir be used (150 mg daily) for a 10 yr old thalassaemia major HbsAg +ve child ?
