Can taking Plan B affect an ovarian cyst?

Since it is birth control pill kit, it may but your better bet if you are trying to reduce the cyst or get rid of it is to let an ob/gyn put you on the pill for a month or 2, this should either shrink it or cause it to dissolve. It doesn't always work, but, it is usually the first thing they try, unless it is big and may rupture, then they recommend surgery.
