I'm asking for my 18 year old daughter who has never had high blood pressure before but took her blood pressure yesterday after missing a dose. It was 150/94. She doesn't get any relief from the headaches and still has them every day. Any information would be appreciated.

I would imagine that acute beta blocker withdrawl can cause rebound hypertension even in those without underlying hypertension.
