Can Someone Help Me Out Here?

I am taking 2x 50mg of morphine (Kadian) a day, and 2x15mg of MSIR in between. (A Total of 130mg) I need to know what some of the other drugs I can take besides this one? The reason I am asking is because the Kadian is so expensive I am going to hit the doughnut hole by august. I can't take MSContin because of the side effects and Kadian is just about as bad.
What other Extended Release Medications would you guys Recommend. Here are a couple I am going to discuss with my DR. Methadone and Oxycodone ER. Can someone tell me if the Oxycodone ER is more Expensive than the Kadian? Thanks for the Help!

Hmmm. I find it interesting you cant take MSContin but can take Kadian-they are both long acting morphine sulfate. MSContin is cheaper. OxyContin is very expensive and there is no generic available anymore since Perdue changed the formulation to make it more abuse resistant. The last time I paid cash for OxyContin it was for 40mg three times a day and it was over 600 dollars for a months supply and I had to call around a lot to get that cheap a price. It was between the 600+ to 1000 dollar a month price and that was probably two years ago. Methadone is a cheaper option. If you are unable to take MSContin, that is probably your least expensive option. I know my dad takes MSContin and when he is in the donut hole he pays around 80 dollars for a months supply of 30mg generic MSContin.
