Can shortness of breath while sleeping and weezing be a side effect of enalapril?

pinkablue; Yes, shortness of breath is a side affect of Enalapril. It is an ACE inhibitor. I would say not to let that side afffect go too long. That is probably one of the more troublesome side affects. That does not mean that your Dr won't say to stay on it and give you something else to go with it. Good Luck
