If I understand your question correctly, will pristiq or paxil cause a false positive for methadone on a urine drug test?
No, methadone being an opiate will test positive for such, while pristiq and paxil unless specifically tested for will not show up. Pristiq and paxil are antidepressants.

Pristiq shows up as pcp in a drug test. I have personally gotten a false positive from it. It seems like taking pristiq, right before the test shows up positive. I have also received negative result while still taking pristiq, but i took it earlier or later on. I'm not sure about paxil though, I just started taking it this week.
