Can prevacid and zantac be taken together?

Details:

My son is getting 5mg of Prevacid (dissolved Prevacid Solutabs) and they do not dissolve at all!!! I am pretty sure he isn't getting an accurate dose if any at all and I was wandering if he could take zantac liquid with the prevacid

I would definately talk to his doctor first because even though they both help the stomach it could also be an overload depending on his age. If the doctor says o.k. then I would separate them one in AM and one in PM. Hope this helps and good luck, marjorie zych
