I dont know if this drug is related, but I too have suffered pains in the feet, twitchy restless legs. I have noticed it when I Take Citalopram , not so bad when I half the dose, but gets worse as the dose goes up.
I thought I just had tired aching legs , but now you have mentioned this side effect I do think it is linked to the drugs.

I began taking Phentermine 37.5mg on 12/04/09 - after 7-8 days I noticed that my ankles and feet hurt - nothing bad just a slight pain once in a while.
I have not been back to the doctor for a recheck yet. But did contact them about pains. But med is curbing my weight. Energy levels up! I can deal with slight side effects.

I took phentermine for 3 month.. the weight fell off but I had severe twitches of the feet and 6 mos later still have them. My feet hurt so bad. I would never risk it again. Plus soon after coming off the appetite suppressant, I gained the weight back. Now I have the weight and twitchy achy burning feet. :-(

If someone is having side effects that concern them they should seek medical advice plain and simple. Some of the side effects are things that should be brought to the attention of your medical provider. Good luck.
I have been to constant visits to my Dr. regarding side effects. I've had an MRI of my lower lumbar, and now scheduled for an MRI brain and C-Scan. My doctor said that he needs to rule out MS, or I may be diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, however, I was curious if anybody has had any different side effects from this medication that may have not been reported. I am very careful when it comes to medication and how I take it, but I am quite concerned because these symptoms began 2 wks after I began the weight loss program. Thanks for your info.
If you've got results coming regarding a diagnosis like fibro, other autoimmune problems, etc it would really help to know those results. Autoimmune problems can cause a lot of symptoms in itself. It may not be the phentermine it's almost impossible to say based on the additional info you've provided. See what kind of results you get. But in the meantime you're describing what could be potentially serious side effects. The dr should be aware of what is happening. I would call the office and speak with the nurse at least. Good luck.
Even though you've been in contact with the dr about side effects is he/she aware of all these you're now mentioning. Some of them are kind of scary. I'm sure that's why you're being scheduled for MRI and a CT scan. Good luck on those. I think you need to see what these tests show to know what direction to go.
