Can one take claritin-D 12 hour non-drowsy with Concerta?

My daughter takes 18mg of Concerta & has been on Claritin non-drowsy for two days. She said today that she noticed she wasn't able to focus and concentrate as well in school & that she wasn't getting her work done as fast as she usually does. My first thought was that the Concerta and the Claritin were counter-acting each other. Of course, it could be just the allergies making her feel this way??
