Can novolin 70/30 replace lantus 100?

No, Novolin can not replace Lantus. Well only if it's switched over correclty ... doses may be different, etc.
If you can't afford it then please discuss it with your doctor ... they can put you on to another appropriate insulin (but your blood sugar levels will need to be monitored for a while).
