I am in need of antidepressant and have taken nortriptyline in the past with success I also have adult adhd rheumatoid arthritis and carpal tunnel it seems to me that this med might be a 4 for 1 special helping to some degree with all conditions going to rheumatologist tomorrow and want to discuss with him in desperate need antidepressant and most common prozac etc have done nothing for me in the past
Can nortriptyline help with ra pain and carpal tunnel?

Hello pksplace. Nortripyyline is from the cyclic family of antidepressants. If you did well on this drug, you might stay with the cyclics. I might suggest you mention to your doctor Imipramine (Tofranil), Amitriptyline (Endep, also prescribed for various types of pain), or Maprotiline (Ludiomil) Either one of these will work much as Nortriptyline (Pamelor) did for you and are prescribed for Major Depression.
