My wife has flu like symptoms and took two advil PM capsules 2 hours ago. She is still very achy. Can I give her a 500MG Naproxen? If not, what can I do to make her more comfortable.

No. I wouldnt give her both Advil PM and Naproxen as they are both NSAIDS. You can give her Naproxen and TYLENOL PM. If she prefers Advil (ibuprofen) PM you can give her doses of acetaminophen or Tylenol in between doses. You dont want to give two NSAIDS because it is too hard on the stomach lining and could make her stomach bleed. When I am sick I always take ibuprofen (Advil)and acetaminophen (Tylenol) alternating about every two to three hours apart. It is the only way I can keep a fever down. Each on its own is not enough, but alternating the two works like a charm! Be sure she is getting plenty of fluids.
