A bed sore / pressure sore requires specialist medical attention. Self diagnosis and or treatment is not recommended.
If the pressure sore is infected topical mupirocin or other oral antibiotics may be prescribed.

Open wound treatment began with bacitracin ointment. Can mupirocin be used instead of bacitracin to continue treatment?
