i need to know if mobic causes stomach pain and if the side effects are dangerous enough to cause bleeding. also if mobic can be stopped suddenly with no problems. please tell me something. i have pain in my stomach and want to know if it could possibly be the mobic. ive been on it for a year.

Mobic is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory; and like the other NSAIDs, it can cause stomach pain and gastric bleeding.
I think it would be prudent to call your doctor immediately.

My ortho doc gave it to me for tennis elbow and I'm not sure if it was the Mobic or the fact that I started on Wellbutrin at the same time but I had terrible stomach pains, made me think something was desperately wrong with me ... so I stopped both of them and within 24 hours the pain went away ... it's a drug to be very careful with :( How are you feeling now? still taking it?
