Can mercaptopurine affect the liver enzymes? How can they turn around?

Elevation of liver enzymes is not a known side effect of mercaptopurine ... however it may be possible. I guess the only way it could be turned around if mercaptopurine is the cause, would be by stopping mercaptopurine.

Are you or the person affected on any other medicines?
