I've always had insomnia, and I usualy take Trazodone to help, but lately it hasn't been. So, I used Lunesta for the first time last night and I didn't sleep at all. It is now 11:50pm the next night, and I took it again about three hours ago, and I am still wide awake. What's going on?

Vicccco,
It can cause some people to become hypersensitive, maybe this is what's keeping you awake. There are a few other options to choose from, but you'd need to consult your doctor. Ambien, Rozerem, and Restoril are all used at the hospital I work in. Perhaps one of these may help you. Good luck
