My 3yo son was on Keppra for 3 weeks for Epilepsy (2 mil. a day). We had to take him off due to extreme anger and psychotic spells. He has been off of the Keppra for 2 weeks and although the anger and psychotic spells are much better, he is still sooooo not himself. I swear it changed my normally sweet, gentle, lovable. easy to please little boy into a not so nice, very difficult little boy that cannot be satisfied... and is still angry beyond normalcy quite a bit. Its totally changed our lives. He is on nothing at the moment, and hasnt been since the end of the Keppra, which he was taken off of abruptly (did not wean). Can Keppra have lasting physiological effects?
