Fluticasone nasal (Veramyst) has been assigned to pregnancy category C by the FDA. Animal studies have revealed evidence of teratogenicity (toxicity to the fetus) Fluticasone has been shown to be teratogenic when administered subcutaneously at high doses to mice. There have been no controlled studies in humans.
