Details:
The box (Prilosec OTC) says not to take if you are taking Diazapam (an anti-anxiety medication). I am not taking Diazapam, but would Valerian have the same interaction?
I take the following medications: Prilosec OTC, Advair, Nasonex, Benadryl (only when needed for allergies), Proventil, and Midrin (as needed for Migraines).
I don't ever mix Benadryl with Valerian.
Thank you!

Hello tracy2of4. I did some research and where you might have to becarefull is the combination of taking Valerian in combination with the Midrin. The others seem to do fairly well. I'd contact either your pharmacist or doctor, either one will beable to assist you with a definite answer. I'm not neither so hopefully since you've asked this question some time ago, you arer doing well and feeling better.best to you.
