Can I take the glucophage to lose weight, if my blood glucose is normal?

Glucophage is not used to treat obesity or if you are overweight. You won't necessarily lose weight on glucophage (and probably not a lot). You may experience weight loss if you have diabetes or insulin resistance problems.

Please see list of other medicines which may be used for weight loss and exercise is also very important.
