Can I stop taking pramipexole cold turkey?

For the medication to work properly, it must be taken as prescribed. Pramipexole will not work if you stop taking it. Do not stop treatment suddenly without first talking to your doc who prescribed the med.

hi vivian, i entered pramipexole into the search engine and read all the information published on the drug. there was a section on discontinuance of use that stated it should be discontinued over a period of a week. i had the same question about advair and called the company's 1-800 number. they were very helpful and told me exactly how to terminate the use of advair. if you do not want to call your doctor, i suggest you call the company that manufactures pramipexole to be absolutely safe. paddyanne47
