I wouldn't recommend using this esp if it looks grainy or different than it did when it was newer.
I have heard of blowing smoke in someone's ear for pain relief; cigarette smoke. I have never tried this but have had many friends who either had it done to them as a child or have also done it to their own children with minor ear pain.
I don't know why it works or if it does as I am not a doctor, nurse, or professional of any kind.
I know this sounds strange but if I were in pain or my child was, I would try it if it was minor and I had to wait for only one day.
