Can I safely use a generic form of tegetrol? I have had a few different opinions about this?

Tegetrol can be used for seizures. If it is being used for seizures then you can not use the generic. The reason the inert ingredients change the amount of time that it takes for a drug to break down in the system. If it takes longer for it to breakdown they your seizures could be out of control.
Yes, it might be more expensive but your seizures are more important than money. But there is an exception to the rule. If you are taking Tegetrol for anxiety or another condition, then the generic can come into play.
Bottom line is you need to state what you are doing with the drug for answering, which you can use. Brand name vs Generic.
