Can I put erythromicin oththalmic oitment on my face?

i ask my doctor for a prescription for acne but she gave me erythromycin oththalmic oiment and she said i can use it on my face too

You can use it on your face but generally ophthalmic ointment tubes aren't very big so it won't last very long for you.
