Can I have a vaginal infection with avelox and when would it start?

I am not sure I read this correctly but the way I read this, you are asking if avelox would cause an infection( vaginal) and the answer is NO, but it may have killed off all the good bacteria that would keep the yeast in that vagina at a low number. You may have developed a secondary yeast infection, which would cause discharge, irritation and itching, mimicking the symptoms of an infection.
