I am on 3 mg daily since one year and in 3 weeks I have to get a surgery with full anesthesie (narcose). is it possible with subutex to get narcose?

I agree with Robert. You will most likely need to come off the Suboxone because you will most likely need a post-op narcotic such as Lortab. If you take Lortab while on Suboxone it will do nothing for pain. However sometimes Suboxone is used for pain control but not during or after most surgeries. So you'll need to talk with the doctor that prescribes the Suboxone to you and tamper off (Buprenorphine can stay in your system for up to 11 days.) so that the medication they give you will work properly for you. After the surgery and after you finish your prescribed pain medication you will get back on Suboxone. I hope this helps. I wish you the best. Also I would talk with your surgeon and let him or her know that you take suboxone. Some Surgeons can actually use Buprenorphine to control the pain during surgery although this is rare.
