Furosemide is a diuretic. It should have no bearing on monthly periods. ou should probably report that to your physician and also take a pregnancy test.

I have been taking furosemide 40mg twice a day for about 2 1/2 weeks. My period just started and it is very light ,but, it should have started about a week ago. Can I still be pregnant or is it because of the meds?
