hey ive just got a quick question... maybe some of yall have been on the duragesic patches before and can help me out.
im on the 25mcg/h patches, have been for a month or two now. first of all id like to say that for once im actually getting the pain relief i needed, the pills i tried just didnt cut it. anyway, my question is about my dreams. since the start of my patches, ive had to craziest, most intense real dreams i could imagine. not like psychedelic dreams or anything, just really intense real life dreams that wake me up all through the night and keep me from bein able to fall back asleep. i'm also on lunesta, but it doesnt seem to be helpin. could this be because of the patches? the only reason i think it might be is because while in the hospital i had several hallucinations while on morphine and torredol, and i hear that fentanyl is similar/stronger than morphine. thanks.

This is a common side effect and will go away in time.Fentynal is stronger than morphine and the patch is an exellent way to get it.If you remember you were getting x number of milligrams of morphine in the hospital while the fentynal patch comes in 25microgram patch also 50,75 and 100mcg.Hang in there and you'll be fine... Dave
