I take 8mg doxazosin for BPH. I have also added Proscar for same reason. I have painful ejaculations and wonder if these drugs are to blame.
Can doxazosin cause painful ejaculation?

I have checked the possible side effects of these medications and did not find this but I thought I'd see if anyone else had this effect.

Hello,
I checked possible list of side effect and painful ejaculation is not listed as a side effect.

Let me first say that I am not a guy so I may be out of line answering this question. But as Maso pointed out, painful ejaculation is not a listed side effect. Could the pain be from the enlarged prostate?
I would call your doctor on Monday and let him know the perdicament you are in.
