Can cholestyramine cause a pediatric patient to lose weight if too much is given?

Firstly overdose of any med is not recommended, yes decrease or loss of appetite, & weight loss is one its rare side effects, however a doc/pharmacist should be able to accurately guide you on this, hope this helps?
