Hi..
chlorthalidone is a good first option for many people for controling high blood pressure..
People using chlorthalidone regularly for a long period of time can experience a slow increase in their blood sugar levels eventually that developing diabetes..
but do not worry..diuretic-induced diabetes may be less harmful than regular diabetes or even may be harmless..
good luck..
