my civilian dr. prescribed labetalol 100mg twice a day but the VA. does not have them & sustituded carvedilol 6.25 mg . will that have the same effect as labetilol?
Can carvedilol 6.25mg be substituded for labetalol 100mg ?

Carvedilol is a prescription medicine that has been licensed to treat several conditions related to the heart and blood vessels. It is part of a class of drugs called beta blockers.
Labetalol hydrochloride is a prescription medicine that has been licensed for controlling high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults. However, it is not a cure for high blood pressure.
