singleoneMy doctor prescribed this drug to help cure my Bacterial Vaginosis. This is something I have never taken for this before. I tried to read on what it cures and it does not specifically say it kills vaginal bacteria.

Are you meaning Bactrim?
If so, Bactrim is not usually the drug of choice to treat vaginosis. Oral metronidazole or topical clindamycin are first line treatments.
