Thank you for your help but I already tried your suggestion. As it turns out CVS has both retail and mail-in pharmacies. The retail pharmacy did not have the drug in their computer as it has not been cleared via the new drug manufacturer in New Jersey. ApoPharma acquired the drug from Glaxo Smith Kline last October and it has to be cleared in each state separately for distribution. The mail-in pharmacy operates in a state where it has been cleared.
Oh that's a bit sad ... then how are patients supposed to get the medicine?
It is available by ordering from the mail in pharmacy of CVS/Caremark. The prescription must be sent directly from the doctor by mail, fax or telephone.
