Can alcohol be consumed while on clindamycin?

Generally alcohol is not recommended when taking antibiotics, however couple of ounces shall perhaps not make too much of a difference, however please check it with your doc/pharmacist who prescribed the med., better to safe & well informed. Take care, be well & safe!

This particular antibiotic is really hard on ur stomach and may causes pain, gastritis, nausea, vomitting in some people without the added alcohol, + u will b reducing the effectiveness. please abstain until u r thru with this med.
