grandma8240My husband is on coumadin because of a blood clot in his leg. He is in the hospital and will possibly be released on Saturday. Someone told him that he could not smoke while he is taking coumadin. He will also ask his doctor this but he wanted me to try to find out. Can you answer this question for me?
Can a person smoke if he is on Coumadin?

Please!!! If you really care about your husbands health, do not ask such a question. Do not feel comfortable to trade one disease for the next. Smoking kills... period
