The campral is to help with the cravings for alcohol. Our counselor also recommended eating ice cream and other sweets to help with the cravings. It is normal to crave something like alcohol or pain pills, counseling will greatly increase your chance of staying off alcohol. Even AA helps, as you need support and to KEEP BUSY.Walking or other light exercise will offset the eating of the sweets.
